![]() Walkthrough: Note: At any point during this level (but the sooner, the better) you can send an Engineer over the water (avoiding enemies) to retrieve the Air Strike Research Cube, marked in blue on the map. Also, the Control Towers C5, C6, and C10 are safe enough to be reprogrammed right off the bat. First things first, get rid of the Triffids by creating a Squad at Control Tower C2, and bringing them to tha area marked with a red circle on the map. Several well-placed Grenades should do the trick. You can decompile this Squad one the Triffids are taken care of, to free up a Task Manager? slot. Create a Squad at C1, and secure the area around C3. Reprogram C3 with an Engineer or two, and then let the Engineers harvest any souls left in the vicinity. Secure the rest of the island with your Squad, harvesting all the souls you can manage as you go. Reprogram C4 when you come across it, and C5 and C6 (if you haven't yet) once the island is cleared of enemies. You should have a good number of Darwinians now congregating around Incubators I1 and I2. Promote a DG to Officer status, and have the Officer direct at least 10 DGs to the Refinery, the large building on the hill in the middle of the island. They will take up positions around it, and the mining carts will begin to circulate around the Track?. Now's a good time to try out your new weapon, Air Strike. Draw up a Squad from either C2 or C10, and work your way towards C9 and I3. Oops! Two more Triffids in the crevasse accessible from the area around C9 - Grenade? them. Harvest as many souls as you can, and clear the remaining enemies. Promote a DG to Officer, and direct the DGs to the mines, as indicated on the map. There are four mines, each requiring 4 DGs, for a total of 16 DGs needed. Dish in the extra DGs wandering around the Refinery if you find yourself short. The DGs will begin mining raw polygons, and sending them to the Refinery for processing into Primitives. You'll need 20 to complete the level. One more step. Send a Squad through Radar Dish R1 to R3, and clear out the area around Control Towers C7 and C8. Reprogram them both, and you're done. If you don't have 20 Primitives yet, then just wait ultil you do. Make sure you have reprogrammed all the Control Towers in the level before you leave, and that you've collected the Air Strike Research Cube.
